Last Friday, I had the privilege of taking a couple of shots of a newborn baby when he was still in the hospital.  Mom and babe were doing really well, albeit being a little exhausted.

A few days later, they invited me to their house for a home session!  I had the time of my life with this little babe!  He’s so cute and little!

Mom really liked my idea of swaddling Baby Kyan and placing him on the bed.  He’s sooo tiiinnnyyyy!!:

…I had their older son lie on the bed with the baby and hug him ever so gently…

I’m really excited for the upcoming year, as this family just signed up for the First Year Photo Session package (meaning this family will see me every three months until NEXT July)!  I’m so thrilled to see the little one grow some more (I think he already looks differently from the hospital visit)!  And even more excitingly for the older brother as he journeys into Kindergarten this year!

Last week, I had the honors of photographing baby Alexandria.  This is a super special photo shoot because: 1) it was a couple days shy of her 6th month and 2) I shot her parent’s wedding a couple of years ago! It warms my heart to see their family grow!

It was so much fun catching up with Mom and Babe (Dad was in the garage tinkering with something)!  Mom and I were discussing how Alexandria is at a GREAT age right now – she can hold things wonderfully, she can sit up, she’s great at holding her head up while lying on her stomach, and she’s got SUCH a great smile!

Mom had three cute dresses laid out for the shoot.  I was all for the pinks, the frills, the flowers, and everything girly!  Each outfit was perfect for little Alexandria’s first photo shoot.
