Eugenia Man Photography | weddings | PASSIONATE DREAM TEAM

4 May

It’s been a while since I’ve blogged, and I’m truly sorry. It’s not that I’ve been neglecting you on purpose. I’ve been extremely busy. Planning weddings (not my own!), planning bellies sessions (not my own!), scheduling family sessions (again, not my own! although, my family session is certainly LONG overdue!), and making a super special surprise for all you expecting families.

I’ve been working closely with a bride (whose wedding is at the end of the month! yay!) and she asked me to hire a videographer to work alongside me during her wedding. I know some talented people, but it just so happens that they all are busy the weekend of the wedding. I went through several avenues and at the last minute found The Best Videographer in town.

He has an incredible resume of projects and I can tell he’s going to go far in his career. He’s got some amazing ideas not only on paper, but more importantly they translate amazingly on screen. I’ve been fortunate enough to attend his full length feature film premier at the Roxie Theater in San Francisco. It completely blew my mind away! I’m so lucky he agreed to be a part of my team!

My favorite part about working with him is that he’s so PASSIONATE about what he does. I know what he works on is a product of 110% commitment to his work. And that is what I am thankful for.
I love working with passionate people because their work shines. Not only with talent, and hard work, but it also completely shines with love. With love for the craft, and with love for the art.

I can’t wait to share this wedding with you all! It’s a 4 day long event. Packed full with love, fun, and plenty of opportunities for beautiful photographs (and video)!
I will blog again soon, I promise!

Eugenia Man Photography | Still Photographer | Team Triple Rainbow – the premier!!

17 Jun

I just got back from the Lumiere Theater, where our short film was premiered!

It was such a rush getting to the theater – which is a short story on its own! (I came straight from Castro Valley in record time, sitting down in my seat literally as the credits started rolling…) I was so worried I wouldn’t make it to the theater in time, but I did!!!

Since I got to the theater late, I didn’t get to sit with the rest of my team. I didn’t have the silent strings of support and good vibes from my teammates!
…but that’s ok! The crowd ALL around me enjoyed our film. They laughed at all the right places, cheered at the end, and clapped sooo hard when our end credits rolled. It was such a good feeling to have everyone enjoy our hard work!

Watching the other films was such a joy. There were SO MANY brilliant ideas and stories – everyone is so creative, I love it! There were so many different interpretations of so many different stories. Everyone did a fantastic job!!!
