just got back!!!

Just came back from my Australian adventure!
Am excited to report back from visiting another really cool photographer! (Review to come on another post)

The most important lesson I’ve learned from this trip is knowing how good it feels to do something everyday that you love. And that is what I will vow to you, the reader of my blog.  That I will love each and everyone of you, and reflect that through the photos I will take of you and your families.

I have come home TRULY inspired!

 

inspiration (still) everywhere!

Chris and I had a discussion about how inspiration strikes anywhere, in whatever form it decides to take shape.  Furthermore, we both decided that it is important to take that inspiration and make something out of it. (We just so happen to take that literally and make a photograph out of it.)

We have come to the conclusion that once you leave comfort and familiarity, your senses become so keen that everything becomes novel and therefore inspiring!

It is so true!  We have vast landscapes, clouds, foliage, and fences along our highways back in California, but I’ve never taken the liberty to take a picture of it!  It literally took me a trip around the world to notice such simple beauty.

…I feel sooooo inspired here!

I don’t want to leave Tasmania, but I know my next stop will be just as inspiring!
