don’t worry! I’m not taking a break from blogging, or photographing!

I was recently invited up to a cabin in tahoe for a couple of ‘relaxing’ days with some friends. (I use ‘relaxing’ loosely because we did 2 FULL days of skiing and my legs are still healing from all that extra strain!)
Of course, I took photos of all the beauty Lake Tahoe has to offer. I recently realized something uncanny when I take landscape photos! all of the horizon lines blend together to make one magnificent panoramic!

I was walking by the apple store in NYC and saw all the ads about the new(ish) iPad and wanted to see what all the hype was about.  I poked here and there and it’s pretty cool.  I guess.  If you like having a laptop without all the weight and a fully functional keyboard, I guess I can understand what it’s all about.

…and then I discovered their books, their video games, the internet, cool apps (like the spiral keyboard?  or the grafitti app?) … and I was pretty much sold.  I stayed at the store for a good 30 minutes with my jaw dropped (and maybe drooling a bit?), my eyes wide, and my fingers tap-tap-tapping…

I wanted to see what my website + blog would look on the iPad, and it blew me away!  I’ve heard alot of problems arising with other people’s sites (mostly with the flash problem….) but mine look fine!!! : )

I didn’t leave the store with one in my possession (though I must admit, I was soooo tempted!!!), but I definitely left with a smile on my face!

My one complaint?  It needs more speakers. I had trouble hearing the music playing.. though that might be because the apple store was completely full and buzzing with people!!!
